Bombardier Looks Towards 20 Years of System Operations for Metro Warsaw
  • BOMBARDIER CITYFLO 350 solution running on Metro since 1995
  • Latest upgrade is adding improvement to services
  • Almost 20 years of rail signalling operations in Poland’s capital city
  • Warsaw, May 5, 2014 – Rail technology leader Bombardier Transportation’s combination of globally proven technology and local experience is improving services on Metro Warsaw.

    The company first delivered its CITYFLO 350 automatic train protection system in 1995. The latest upgrade being installed for Metro Warsaw Sp z.o.o is optimising the CITYFLO 350 on-board equipment on 40 trains. The new equipment, to be commissioned by the end of 2014, will increase capacity and travelling speed on the metro line.
